About Me

Photo of Neil Knauth
I’m a web designer from Central Texas. I just finished my Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.

I do web development work for the University College at Texas Tech, as well as freelance jobs as often as I’m able.

I’m a big fan of HTML5, CSS 3 and standards-compliance in both areas. Cleanliness, efficiency and beauty
of code are important to me, as is minimalism and cleanliness of design. I also use PHP and the jQuery
Javascript library extensively.

About This Site

This site was lovingly hand-coded by yours truly, Neil Knauth, and is powered by the
Textpattern CMS. The site also
makes use of the 960 Grid System.

The site uses CSS3 elements rather extensively, so up-to-date Webkit- and Gecko-based browsers get the best viewing experience. The site is technically viewable in Internet Explorer, but it doesn’t look quite as nice.

The icons are by
komodomedia.com.

The site also looks great on an iPhone or iPod touch.
